Trinity Health-based Amethyst Care Secures Funding to Commercialize AI Voice Assistant - Next Digital Health

Amethyst Care, a Trinity College-based AI health tech startup developing an AI-backed voice assistant to help people with mobility issues at home, has secured over $543,000 (€500,000) in seed funding from Enterprise Ireland to expand and advance its innovative tech product to commercialization. Led by Prof Vinny Wade, chair of AI at Trinity’s School of Amethyst Care will use the new funding to expand its team and commercialize AI voice assistants within the next two years.
