8 reviews and 2 photos of BRITISH AIRWAYS "I've never taken this airline before being that it was my first time overseas. I had no real expectations, i was concentrating more on the actual trip. Once we stepped onto the plane it was straight off a movie set! First class area had the cocoon beds. Then we walked a little further to our area and saw that our regular class seats, looked like normal first class seats.
We find our seats, and they are so roomy. Plenty of space between you and the seats in front of you. On the seat was a blanket and pillow, headphones, PLUS a mini toothbrush and toothpaste. How thoughtful! Well played British Airways.
Complimentary tv, that had new release movies, prime time television shows, games, music etc.
Oh but dont think im done bragging about this wonderful airline.....
About 40 min after takeoff, they do the routine beverages, i ordered a tomato juice and the lovely flight attendant responded with "would you like vodka with that?" I jokingly quickly responded "if its free." And he shook his head, with yes of course its free look. Free booze. BOOM.
Still not finished.....
Next they offer complimentary meals. No nuts on this plane. How about some curried chicken with rice? Or maybe a lasagna ravioli mash up? All came with side salads, bread and dessert. Now noticed how i said meals and not meal....about 3 hours after that they served us another meal! Chicken salad sandwich anyone, or how about an egg salad with watercress.
Literally my mind was blown.
With the free tv, booze and food the flight was such a breeze, it didnt feel like the 6 hours as proposed. Bravo Birtish Airways!"
