Boone Memorial Health (BMH) is a nonprofit healthcare system in Boone County, West Virginia. It provides a 25-bed critical access hospital, a level IV trauma centre, a Black Lung Center, two rural health clinics, and a mental health and substance use treatment service. BMH also strives to offer speciality and primary healthcare services in Boone County. These developments occurred after BMH’s establishment in 1964 with only five physicians and thirty-eight staff members. Inspired by ‘People Helping People’ as our philosophy, they envision providing efficient, friendly, and affordable health care to the community courteously.
